In different parts, synthetic materials are used in combination with metal reinforcements, the effect obtained is to “bind” to the bullet while it hits them, dissipating part of its kinetic energy and thus limiting the speed with which the bullet through the surfaces. The windscreens are strengthened by applying up to 5 layers of glass with intermediate plastic films. Of course, the weight of an armored vehicle is higher than that of a standard machine.
